In our practice zones, you get the chance to practice your math skills online with instant feedback.

Once you have done a timed quiz, you can see your results and print out your achievements.

The achievement levels are based on the percentage correct and the time taken.

- Gold awards are for outstanding achievement: 94% or higher;
- Silver awards represent very good acheivement: 85% or above;
- Bronze awards represent good achievement: 70% or above.

As well as the percentage of questions answered correctly, the awards are also dependent on the time taken to answer the questions!

These quizzes are great for...

- benchmarking against future progress or setting targets;
- class competitions;
- assessing specific mental calculation skills.

The quizzes can also be tailored to the specific skills that you want to develop.

You can set each quiz to Individual or Class/Group mode.

Individual Mode

When working in Individual Mode, you can:

- change the settings between each game to tailor them to your needs;
- click the Results button to see which questions you got right, and what your mistakes were;
- print out your results to show what you have achieved, and to try to beat your score next time.

Class/Group Mode

When working in Group mode, you can:

- view the top 3 scores for your group;
- click on the Results button to see all the scores for your group;
- sort the results easily so that you can see who has achieved the learning objective and who needs more practice or support;
- click on the Reset button to get ready for the next player;
- clear all the scores and settings by refreshing the page.

In Group Mode, you cannot see how you answered each individual question - you can only see the results for you group.

In Group Mode the settings are locked to prevent any tampering.

If you wish to change the settings, then refresh the page in your browser - you will lose all your data when this happens!

Online Multiplication Practice Zone

Here is our online multiplication zone for practicing facts related to the times tables.

This zone is similar to the times tables practice zone on this page but includes options for multiplying by tens or decimals.

E.g. if you know 4x3=12, then you should also know that 4x30=120 or 4x300=1200.

Using this zone will allow you to practice:

- multiplying by digit multiples of 10 and 100;
- Get immediate feedback on your progress;

Using this zone will help to apply their tables knowledge to work out related facts.

Division Practice Zone

This zone is all about division facts related to multiplication facts.

Example - if you know that 3x5=15 then you should also know that 15÷5=3 and 15÷3=5

Using this zone will help you to:

- learn division facts related to the multiplication facts;
- choose specific tables you want to practice your division facts for;
- Get immediate feedback on your progress;

Multiplication Division Zone

Create your own tailor-made online questions to help your child with their online multiplication and division practice skills.

Using this zone will allow you to:

- practice your online multiplication and division facts;
- choose specific times tables that you want to work on.

Using this zone will help your child improve their multiplying and dividing skills.

Here you will find a selection of graded Multiplication sheets designed to give your child plenty of times tables practise and improve their quick recall skills.

Multiplication Times Tables Sheets

Here you will find a selection of times tables practice sheets designed to help your child improve their mental recall of Multiplication Facts and learn their times tables.

As your child progresses through the grades, they will learn their multiplication table to 5x5 and eventually to 10x10, or 12x12.

Once they know their multiplication facts, they can start to learn related facts, e.g. if 3 x 4 = 12, then 30 x 4 = 120 and $300 x 4 = $1200.
