Hub Page

Welcome to the our Area and Volume Calculators hub page.

Here you will find links to our selection of free calculators which you can use to help you find the area, surface area and volume of a range of different 2D and 3D shapes.

We have created a range of different area, perimeter, surface area and volume calculators for you to use.

Each of our calculators shows you the working out step-by-step so you can see how the answer has been calculated.

One other feature of our calculators is that they all take fraction inputs. This means that you can type in a proper fraction, an improper fraction or mixed number into the calculator and it will show the answer as both a fraction and a decimal.

You can also choose your required degree of accuracy and the calculator will round the answer to the correct number of decimal places.

On each webpage, you will also find worked examples, formulas and practice worksheets.

We have a growing range of different area and perimeter calculators to help you find the area and perimeters of different 2D shapes.

If there is a calculator you need, which we do not yet have, please let us know!

These calculators will help you find the surface area of a range of different 3D shapes.

The surface area of a 3D shape is the area all the individual surfaces of the shape take up.

These calculators will help you find the volume of a range of different 3D shapes.

The volume of a 3D shape is the amount of space inside the shape.

We have a wide range of free math calculators to help you.

Most of our calculators show you their working out so that you can see exactly what they have done to get the answer.
