Top 5 tips for helping your child with their math learning
Sometimes, there may be a specific question or problem your child might be having with their math work that you can't seem to help with.
It might also be that you feel your child is not making the amount of progress they should be, and you are worried that they may be falling behind.
However, you should also remember that children do not progress at a constant rate, and that sometimes they need time to assimilate and consolidate the learning they already have before they move on.

You will also find many hundreds of math questions already answered, though you can still ask your own if your question is not there!
If you want to learn more about educational theory behind good mathematics teaching and learning, then take a look at the youcubed site by Stanford University.
There is a selection of online Maths courses to participate in, research about how children learn math and some resources for you to use in class.
