Welcome to our Divisibility Rules Worksheets page where you will find our selection of sheets to help you test your knowledge of divisibility rules.

We also have an online quiz and some divisibility rules puzzles.

Quicklinks to ...

- A number is divisible by another number if it can be divided by the other number with no remainder.
- So n is divisible by p if n ÷ p is a whole number with no remainder.

We can also say that a number is divisible by another number if it can be made by multiplying the other number by another whole number.

- So n is divisible by p if n is in the p times table.

We can also say that n is divisible by p if:

- p is a factor of n;
- n is a multiple of p.

We have split our worksheets into two sections.

The first section contains 5 sheets and involves using the divisibility rules to fill in a table to say whether numbers are divisible by different digits.

The second section contains 2 puzzles - the aim of each puzzle is to use the clues to work out the correct solution from 8 possible answers.

The sheets are graded with the easiest ones first.

The rules covered by each sheet are:

- Sheet 1 - divisibility rules for 1, 5 and 10 only.
- Sheet 2 - divisibility rules for 1, 2, 5 and 10 only.
- Sheet 3 - divisibility rules for 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10.
- Sheet 4 - divisibility rules for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10.
- Sheet 5 - divisibility rules for all numbers up to 10.

Our quizzes have been created using Google Forms.

At the end of the quiz, you will get the chance to see your results by clicking 'See Score'.

This will take you to a new webpage where your results will be shown. You can print a copy of your results from this page, either as a pdf or as a paper copy.

For incorrect responses, we have added some helpful learning points to explain which answer was correct and why.

We do not collect any personal data from our quizzes, except in the 'First Name' and 'Group/Class' fields which are both optional and only used for teachers to identify students within their educational setting.

We also collect the results from the quizzes which we use to help us to develop our resources and give us insight into future resources to create.
