Using number lines is a good way to learn how numbers work, and what numbers look like visually. Number lines can also help with learning place value, ordering and counting with numbers.

From this page you will be able to access links to our selections of a variety of number lines for different purposes, including fraction number lines, decimal number lines and integer number lines.

Adding and Subtracting on a Number Line

These sheets involve adding and subtracting numbers using a number line for support.

They are mainly aimed at first and second graders.

Use these sheets to help you add and subtract numbers within 10, 20 or 100.

Fraction Number Lines
