This is our Counting Quarters worksheet page where all the worksheets will help your child with this skill.

The sheets are suitable for children in 2nd and 3rd grade.

We also have a support sheet for children who need extra help with this skill.

Using these sheets will help your child to:

  • count quarters up to $3;
  • match different numbers of quarters to different money amounts.
  • use $ and ¢ notation to record money amount and convert between the two.

We have split the sheets into sections of sheets on the same theme.

  • The first section contains sheets to match quarters to different money amounts.
  • The second section contains sheets to count the number of quarters and record the money amounts;
  • The third section contains coloring sheets to color the correct number of quarters to match different money amounts.

There is no significant difference in the level of difficulty between the sections.

Within each section, the sheets get gradually harder.
