To find half of 46, we need to divide 46 by 2.
46 ÷ 2 = 23
We can also find half of 46 by finding half of 40 and half of 6 and then adding them together.
So half of 46 = half of 40 + half of 6 = 20 + 3 = 23
To find half of 74, we need to divide 74 by 2.
74 ÷ 2 = 37
We can also find half of 74 by finding half of 70 and half of 4 and then adding them together.
So half of 74 = half of 70 + half of 4 = 35 + 2 = 37
To find a quarter of 24, we need to divide 24 by 4, or halve it twice.
24 ÷ 4 = 6
We can also find half of 24 by finding half of 24 and then halving this result.
So half of 24 = 12 and half of 12 = 6.
So 1/4 of 24 = 6.
To find a quarter of 92, we need to divide 92 by 4, or halve it twice.
92 ÷ 4 = 23
We can also find half of 92 by finding half of 92 and then halving this result.
