HALLOWEEN

Welcome to our First Grade Math Worksheets Halloween page.

Check out our range of fun counting, coloring, puzzle and challenges with a Halloween theme designed for first graders.

There are a range of first grade math worksheets we have created with a halloween theme.

There are counting worksheets with numbers up to 20, and color by number pages where you can choose which number values you want to use.

Using these sheets will help your child to:

- add and subtract within 10;
- count objects up to 20 in random arrangements;

We hope you enjoy our series of first grade math worksheets halloween themed.

The pages have been split up into two sections, the first section contains our counting worksheets.

The second section contains our traditional color by number pages with a halloween theme.

The third section contains our grid color by numbers pages where each grid has many different sets of numbers to choose from..

These pages all involve coloring squares on a grid in different colors to make a picture.

There are multiple worksheets available for each picture which involve adding or subtracting numbers to 10 or 12.

- Sheet 1A involves adding 0, 1, 2, and 3 up to a total of 10.
- Sheet 1B involves adding 1, 2, 3 and 4 up to a total of 14.
- SHeet 1C involves adding 2, 3, 4 and 5 up to a total of 18.

We have designed this series of sheets for children to develop their addition as well as their problem solving skills.

The aim is to work out the totals of different routes through the pumpkin maze with a particular total.

- Sheet 1A involves adding up to 10.
- Sheet 1B involves adding up to a total of 12.
- SHeet 1C involves adding up to 15.

Our Halloween races problem is a simple problem involving finding all 6 possibilities for the results of a race between a Halloween cat, bat and a witch.

It is a good activity to use with hands-on resources to represent each of the characters with younger children.
