Each challenge consists of a Halloween joke, and a hidden message which is the answer.

Using these sheets will help your child to:
These sheets are suitable for 2nd and 3rd graders.
Sheets 1a and 1b have the same joke and answer, but different clues.
Sheets 2a and 2b have the same joke and answer, but different clues.
Sheets 1a and 2a have questions involving Addition and Subtraction facts to 20.
Sheets 1b and 2b have questions involving Multiplication Facts for the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
Each letter in the word HALLOWEEN has been assigned a particular value.
For the first part of each challenge, you have to work out the value of different words that can be made from the word 'HALLOWEEN'.
For the second part of each challenge, you have to find words that have a specific value.
This challenge is great for developing fluency with addition facts.

These sheets are suitable for 2nd grade up to 5th grade.
With our Halloweeen picture puzzles, you have a grid with a different Halloween picture in each square.
Each of the pictures has a value.
In the easiest challenge (Puzzle 1), the values of the picture are given, and you have to use the pictures to work out the totals in each row.
In all the other puzzle worksheets, you are told what the totals of each row are, and you have use this information to work out the value of each picture.
Puzzle 1 is suitable for 1st and 2nd graders.
Puzzle 2 is suitable for 2nd and 3rd graders.
Puzzle 3 is suitable for 3rd and 4th graders.
Puzzles 4 and 5 are suitable for 4th and 5th graders.
These worksheets all have an alphanumerical grid with letters on the horizontal axis and numbers on the vertical axis.
You have to color each square on the grid the correct color to make the picture..
These sheets are suitable for 2nd and 3rd graders.
These worksheets all involve plotting and joining coordinates in the first quadrant.
You have to plot and join the coordinates until you make a polygon, then shade it the correct color to make the picture.
These sheets are suitable for 4th and 5th graders.
