Money Worksheets for First Grade

The sheets on this page will help your child to become more confident with adding and comparing money amounts.

Using these sheets will help your child to:

• recognise and know the values of the US coins;
• solve simple money word problems;
• compare money amounts;
• add up to four coins (dimes, nickels and pennies).

We have divided the sheets on this page into three sections.

The first section is about recognising coins.

The second section is about solving money word problems.

The third section is about comparing and ordering money amounts.

There are 3 versions of each of these money worksheets for first grade sheets so that you can select the right level of difficulty for each child.

Sheet A is the easiest, Sheet B is a medium level and Sheet C is the hardest.
