Thanksgiving Math Games

We have a range of math games created with a Thanksgiving theme suitable from first grade up to 3rd Grade.

Our games include strategy games, math fact games and general number games.

Here are some of the skills that our puzzle sheets help to develop:

• counting by 1s up to 100;
• addition and subtraction facts to 20;
• multiplication facts to 5x5 or 10x10;
• strategic thinking;

We have grouped the games in sections based on grade, so you can easily find a game at the right level for your child.

Turkey Crossing is a strategy game. One player plays 3 farmers and the other player is the turkey. The turkey has to escape from the farmers and get to the other side of the field to escape.

If the turkey manages to escape to the other side of the field, then the turkey wins the game.

If the turkey gets trapped by the farmers then they win the game.

Our first game is First to the New World which is a dice game where the aim is to reach the New World first on the grid.

The second game is Turkey Crossing which is a strategy game. One player plays 3 farmers and the other player is the turkey. The turkey has to escape from the farmers and get to the other side of the field to escape.

Each game comes complete with instructions.

Thanksgiving Cover Up which is a fun math fact game where you use your addition, subtraction and multiplication skills to make different numbers. There is an easier and harder version of this game.

Thanksgiving Three of a Kind game which is very similar to the Thanksgiving Cover Up game.

Each game comes complete with instructions.

We have created a range of different craft activities with a Thanksgiving theme for kids of all ages.

Our craft activities include:

• using nets to create Thanksgiving boxes
• make Thanksgiving lantern
• create your own Turkey tail feather collage
• make a fall leaf sun-catcher
