which will help your child learn and practice multiplying and dividing decimals by 10 or 100 mentally.

These sheets have been designed to use place value skills to multiply and divide decimals by 10 or 100.

Multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100 is a key skill which supports a whole range of other math skills from percentages to unit conversions.

The following sheets are designed to practice multiplying and dividing a range of decimals up to 3dp by 10 or 100.

The sheets are graded so that the easier ones are at the top.

Using these sheets will help your child to:

- multiply and divide decimals up to 3dp by 10;
- multiply and divide decimals up to 3dp by 100;
- work out missing facts where a multiplier or divisor is missing, but the product or quotient is given;
- understand that multiplying or dividing a number by 10 or 100 makes the product or quotient ten or one-hundred times bigger or smaller.

Our Multiply and Divide by 10 100 sheets have been split up into 4 sections:

- the first section involves multiplying and dividing a range of decimals by 10;
- the second section has graded worksheets which involve multiplying and dividing a range of decimals by 10 and 100;
- the third section has randomly generated worksheets which involve multiplying and dividing a range of decimals by 10 and 100;
- the fourth section contains some place value support sheets for multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100.

These sheets contain separate multiplying and dividing by 10 questions, as well as mixed ones.

There is also a section to develop understanding that multiplying by 10 makes a number 10 times bigger and dividing by 10 makes a number 10 times smaller.

These worksheets have been created using our multiplication division random worksheet generator.

There are two versions of each sheet.

- the first version has facts which are missing answers.
- the second version has the answers given, but missing multipliers and divisors.

The following place value charts have been designed to help with multiplying by 10 and 100.

You can use the charts by writing the numbers in the charts and then moving the digits either one or two places to the left depending on whether you are multiplying by 10 or 100.
