Learning to multiply numbers quickly by 10 and 100 is a key learning skills which links place value knowledge to multiplication and division.

Using these sheets will help your child to:

- multiply a range of 2-digit and 3-digit numbers by 10 mentally.
- understand that multiply by 10 or 100 makes a number 10 or 100 times bigger;
- complete a multiplication equation where the answer is given but one of the multipliers is missing.

We have split the sheets into 4 different sections.

- The first section involves multiplying by 10.
- The second section involves multiplying by 100.
- The third section involves multiplying by 10 and 100.

In the first section are our carefully graded multiplying by 10 and 100 worksheets which have a range of activities to support learning this skill.

- The first sheet only goes up to 2-digits x 10 and 100.
- The second sheet has both 2- and 3-digit numbers multiplied by 10 and 100.

In the second section are several sheets which have been created by our Free Multiplication Worksheets generator

Using these sheets will help your child to:

- use their multiplication table knowledge to multiply by 10s and 100s mentally
- multiply any whole number by a single digit;
- multiply a two or three digit number by a two digit number.

These worksheets are similar to those on this page but involve decimals up to 3dp.

Converting metric units is a great way to apply your knowledge of multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000 to convert metric measurements from one unit to another.

We have a range of different metric unit conversions both with and without decimals.

Our quizzes have been created using Google Forms.

At the end of the quiz, you will get the chance to see your results by clicking 'See Score'.

This will take you to a new webpage where your results will be shown. You can print a copy of your results from this page, either as a pdf or as a paper copy.

For incorrect responses, we have added some helpful learning points to explain which answer was correct and why.

We do not collect any personal data from our quizzes, except in the 'First Name' field which is optional. We collect this information so that if a class of students is taking a quiz, the individual results can be recorded along with the first name of the student.

We also collect the results from the quizzes which we use to help us to develop our resources.

If the error message 'File Unavailable' should appear in a pop-up window with a 'RELOAD' option in the bottom right corner of the screen:

- Don't click the RELOAD link - it doesn't do anything
- click anywhere on the screen but not inside the pop-up window
- the pop-up window should disappear and you should be able to see your results.
- NB. This error is a Google error in the Google Quiz app - it is currently unresolved!
